Some principles that all communist parties and communist organizations must follow in their relations with other parties and organizations.

We as communist parties or organizations have a duty to follow Marxist-Leninist principles in our political and diplomatic relations. In other words, where there is a communist party or communist organization, even if they are small, our duty is to prioritize relations with these parties or organizations and not with revisionist, social-democratic or bourgeois parties.

We have a duty in managing our political and diplomatic relations to contribute everything we can to creating or strengthening communist parties or communist organizations (aiming to found the communist party) that are truly Marxist-Leninist.

Our political and diplomatic relations have a responsibility, not only in our country Portugal, but throughout the world, to strengthen the truly Marxist-Leninist communist movement and combat revisionism and bourgeois forces.

But there is the exception that in the case of just struggles for national liberation, against colonialism and for the independence of truly oppressed peoples our duty to strengthen communists throughout the world may include cooperation with bourgeois forces of armed resistance in order for the communists of these oppressed peoples to gain popular support within this just struggle of armed resistance.

O Partido Comunista Português (PCP) actual não tem nada a ver com as suas origens e o seu passado e já não é um partido comunista e não tem ideologia marxista-leninista apesar das suas afirmações falsas a esse respeito. A prática deste PCP actual, nomeadamente desde 2015 com a sua aliança com o PS no contexto do governo da chamada "geringonça", perdeu todos os resquícios de carácter comunista ao deixar de ser pelo menos oposição a governos burgueses e à social-democracia do PS. Em termos teóricos e estratégicos, o que é tão ou mais importante porque mais tarde ou mais cedo a teroria e estratégia transformam-se em prática do dia-a-dia, o PCP deixou de ser comunista já em 1988 ao aprovar o seu programa da "democracia avançada" - um programa que perdeu todos os resquícios de carácter comunista que pudessem existir no programa anterior. Preliminary note: We may have forgotten something. But we want to highlight what the KKE has done best since its leftward turn, its revolutionary turn, in 1991. We want to draw up a list here of what we consider the KKE's legacy for the future, despite having major disagreements with the KKE today. This is a list of principles that, if always followed, would guarantee the Marxist-Leninist path of the KKE or any other Communist Party.
